What is DHT?

When DHT binds to receptors on hair follicles, it causes them to go through a process called miniaturization, in which the anagen phase often referred to as the “growth phase” of the cycle becomes progressively shorter. This reduced anagen phase results in hairs that are thinner and shorter.
